Choose MP4 for phones, browsers, presentations, and social uploads. MOV is useful in Apple-centered editing workflows. WebM is designed for efficient browser playback, while MKV is a flexible container when broad device support is less important.
High Quality keeps more visual information but creates a larger output. Balanced is suitable for everyday sharing. Small File applies stronger compression. Keep the original resolution and frame rate when you do not need to reduce dimensions or motion detail.
A container change does not improve an already low-quality source. GIF exports cannot contain sound, and uncommon formats may still be unsupported by older applications. For the broadest compatibility, use MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio.
