Aspect ratio controls the shape of the video, while pixel dimensions control its resolution. Viddash combines both into platform presets so a landscape source can become a vertical Short, Reel, or TikTok, a square feed post, or a 4:5 portrait video.
A 1080 by 1920 frame is the standard vertical shape for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Stories, and YouTube Shorts. Keep faces, captions, and calls to action away from the extreme top and bottom where platform controls may appear.
A 1080 by 1350 portrait frame is taller than a square while still fitting conventional feeds. It is a strong choice for Instagram and Facebook when the main subject benefits from vertical space but the content is not a full-screen story.
The current resizer fills the selected frame by cropping overflow. Preview the composition before publishing and keep logos, subtitles, products, and faces near the center when converting between landscape, square, and vertical ratios.
